BRETT HAYES
Brett Hayes, MSW is a systems strategist and trusted advisor operating at the intersection of policy, government, and large-scale implementation. As the founder of BH Strategies, he leverages his deep expertise in social work and systems leadership to bridge the gap between policy intent and human outcome. Grounded in the Science of Hope, Brett helps leaders navigate environments where progress depends on trust, timing, and coordination across multiple systems. He is known for building alignment where it doesn’t naturally exist and for moving work forward in spaces where fragmentation typically slows progress. Brett previously served as the first Hope Ambassador at Oklahoma Human Services, where he led the agency to become the nation’s first Hope-Centered Organization. He later served as an executive at Aetna Better Health of Oklahoma, where he played a key role in securing the state’s Medicaid managed care contract. Today, he advises leaders on strategy, stakeholder alignment, and the execution of high-impact initiatives across public and private systems to build resilient, effective environments that foster lasting progress.
